Awareness Through Movement®
In group classes, called Awareness Through Movement®, participants are verbally led through a sequence of movements in basic positions such as lying on the floor, sitting in a chair, or standing. The classes are designed to enable participants to learn at their own pace. This self-pacing class structure allows individuals the time and space to make more refined sensory distinctions. The ability to make more refined sensory distinctions enables participants to connect the movements and sensations explored during class into the functions and actions of their daily lives.
